FP&A Business Analyst (12 Month FTC)

We are recruiting for a FP&A Business Analyst to join a leading insurer , based in London with a flexible hybrid working arrangement. This vital role involves delivering high-quality financial analysis, supporting forecasting, budgeting and performance insights within the UK Finance division. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable narratives that influence decision-making and strategic planning. You will also play a key part in cost and efficiency projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives, contributing to the ongoing development of the FP&A function.
 
Key skills and requirements include:
 
  • Professional qualification in Accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong FP&A experience including financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Experience within general insurance industry preferred
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and deliver impactful insight
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience supporting cost transformation or change programmes
