We are working with a leading London Market insurance broker to secure an experienced contract Product Owner to drive the development of its fast follow capability. The role will shape a digital proposition that enables following markets to automatically align with lead underwriter terms, pricing and claims decisions, accelerating placement and improving efficiency across the Lloyd’s and London market.
The Role
- Owning the product vision and backlog for the fast follow and digital placement proposition
- Working with broking teams, carriers and technology partners to define requirements for automated, data driven following capacity
- Defining data, integration and workflow requirements across lead and follow placement
- Translating business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Leading agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning and reviews
- Engaging senior stakeholders and managing competing priorities
- Driving adoption across broking teams and participating markets
About You
- Proven Product Owner experience within the London Market or Lloyd’s, ideally on the broker side
- Strong understanding of fast follow, smart follow or follow form placement models
- Exposure to digital trading and placement platforms and market data standards
- Solid grasp of agile delivery and backlog management
- Confident engaging carriers, brokers and senior stakeholders
- Available at short notice is preferred
