WPR are pleased to be working with a key Lloyd's Insurer who are looking for a Syndicate Accountant. This is a permanent role based in London.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the finance reconciliation project to establish, build and implement a framework for data reconciliation from source system and ledgers for all technical and signed data involved.
- Ensure the internal deadlines for group financial reporting schedules are met and queries answered in a timely manner.
- Manage all aspects of the production of the three Syndicate accounting ledgers, the ledger for the managing Agent and corporate member, through to the month end, quarter end and year end GL Close.
This role will suit somebody with:
- Be a qualified accountant, preferably two to five years PQE.
- Educated to degree level.
- Have good working knowledge of Insurance Accounting, preferably Syndicate.
- Excellent attention to detail whilst working with high volumes of data.
