WPR is excited to be partnered with a leading insurer who is looking to recruit a UK Financial Controller. This is a permanent role based in Wimbledon with 2 days in the office.
Some responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the UK Financial Accounting team, driving engagement and productivity.
- Ownership of the monthly reporting process and controls, ensuring the production of timely and accurate financial information under both UK GAAP (FRS102 & 103) and IFRS (including IFRS 17).
- Preparation of month-end reporting packs to present directly to the Group CFO.
This role would suit a qualified Accountant with strong IFRS & UK GAAP accounting knowledge along with a background of insurance accounting. Solvency II exposure would be desirable but not essential.
