WPR becomes a Corporate Partner to ELBA

WPR is proud to have become a Corporate Partner to the East London Business Alliance, ELBA.

ELBA is a registered charity that has over 30 years of experience in enabling successful partnerships between business and the East London community. In the past year, ELBA helped place over 300 people into work in London through its award-winning Employment Works programme, delivered over 12,000 business volunteers into the community, and worked with over 500 local organisations in east London.

WPR aims to work with ELBA to help build relationships between young people and the professional world, in particular young people from the BAME community.

Two initiatives WPR’s Directors will be undertaking is mentoring. James Pepe will begin mentoring a university student looking to move into professional work, whilst Niall Wynne will take part in the Parity Project, a mentoring scheme supporting young black men into employment. Further community outreach projects are planned once lockdown restrictions are lifted.

We cannot wait to begin working with ELBA and the wider East London community.
